Mandatory Evacuation Issued for NYC Coastal Areas
2011- 08 - 26. The NYC Office of Emergency Management is closely monitoring Hurricane Irene as it approaches the NYC. The National Weather Service has issued a Hurricane Warning for the New York City area in association with Hurricane IRENE.
